Detection of differential subcellular localization of CEP55 protein during different phases of mitosis demonstrates antibody specificity. Immunofluorescence analysis using Anti-CEP55 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-29454), shows its expression at different phases of mitosis in NTERA cells where it is associated with the centrosome throughout the mitotic division. It can be seen at high levels in the condensing chromosomes during Prophase; concentrated near the spindle poles during Metaphase, starts separating in the spindle midzone at Anaphase and localizes in the midbody between two daughter cells at Telophase.
